1. What PactStamp is

PactStamp is a self-help software platform for creating, electronically signing, storing, and checking the stored integrity of agreement records.

PactStamp is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice or legal representation, and is not a substitute for advice from a licensed attorney. Templates are self-help starting points selected by the user. PactStamp does not choose a legal strategy, decide which rights or remedies apply, or guarantee that a record is valid or enforceable.

PactStamp does not provide notarization, identity or authority verification, professional-license verification, escrow, payment transfer, dispute resolution, or marketplace payout services.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering an agreement to create, invite, or sign through PactStamp. If you act for a business or another person, you represent that you have authority to do so.

You are responsible for keeping your account email and private links secure and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when you create, sign, or manage a record.

Do not use PactStamp for unlawful, fraudulent, coercive, abusive, misleading, or infringing activity, or for agreements you are not authorized to create or sign.

3. Electronic records and signatures

Before signing, PactStamp presents an Electronic Records and Signatures Disclosure for the specific agreement. Electronic use is optional. The signer must separately consent to electronic records and confirm an intention to apply the submitted signature to the exact document shown.

PactStamp records the server-selected disclosure version, consent-text hashes, signature metadata, document snapshots, hashes, audit events, and related evidence. These records support integrity checking but do not prove identity, authority, facts, legal validity, enforceability, notarization, or an independent signing time.

4. Limited public release

New public creation is limited to the agreement types, states, languages, and scenarios shown as available in the product. Availability is a product safety boundary, not a legal conclusion about a particular transaction.

The catalog describes all thirteen registered agreement types: Furniture Assembly, Bill of Sale, Rental Agreement, Loan / IOU, NDA, Project with a freelancer, Roommate Agreement, Privacy Agreement, Services and consulting, General Agreement, Personal Pledge, Couple Agreement, and Family Agreement. Catalog coverage and read-only previews do not mean that new public creation is enabled for every type or scenario.

Where a type has a public creation path, it is limited to an English-language document, both parties located in Texas, and a selected scenario family marked ALLOW by the current release policy. A type with no ALLOW family, a scenario marked REVIEW or BLOCK, another document language, a party outside Texas, or a cross-state record is outside the public create, edit, share, notify, and sign path.

Public creation is enabled only when the deployment presents the exact compiled content-release identifier for the scenario registry, clauses, templates, disclosures, and policy versions in that build. This technical release gate is not legal approval of any agreement or transaction.

5. Subscriptions and billing

Free accounts may create and sign agreements with usage limits. Public Pro checkout is disabled until the product displays an enabled purchase action. When enabled, PactStamp Pro is an automatically renewing digital subscription at $12.00 USD per month or $99.00 USD per year, plus any applicable tax shown before payment. There is no free trial or free-to-paid conversion.

Pro adds server-rendered PDF and record-bundle downloads, no watermark, and unlimited agreements for the subscribing account while its entitlement is active. An independent RFC 3161 timestamp is not included.

The selected subscription renews at the start of each monthly or yearly period until canceled. The exact price, cadence, included features, cancellation terms, refund terms, Terms version, and Refund Policy version are displayed before Stripe collects payment information, and checkout requires separate affirmative recurring-charge consent.

For a yearly subscription, PactStamp will send a renewal reminder to the account email 35 days before renewal. A future price increase applies only to a later renewal after at least 21 days of advance notice; the subscriber may cancel before that renewal.

A Texas residential-lease form or artifact is excluded from paid form-preparation entitlement unless the displayed offer expressly includes it after documented Texas-compliant form provenance and a separate release review.

PactStamp is delivered online as digital software. There are no physical goods, shipping fees, or return shipping.

Stripe processes payment and subscription management. PactStamp does not store full card numbers.

6. Cancellation and refunds

A subscriber may cancel at any time from the online customer portal linked from the PactStamp account, without contacting a representative. A subscriber who cannot access the portal may email [email protected]. Cancellation has no fee, stops future renewals, and normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period; Pro access remains available until then.

A cancellation is not retroactive and does not automatically refund or prorate the current period. A successful monthly initial or renewal charge is eligible for a full refund when the account holder requests it within seven calendar days after that charge. A successful yearly initial or renewal charge is eligible when requested within 30 calendar days. After the applicable window, charges are nonrefundable except for a duplicate charge, a confirmed billing error or unauthorized charge, or when applicable law requires a refund.

An approved full refund is returned to the original payment method, cancels the associated subscription immediately, and ends Pro access after Stripe confirms the cancellation. Existing signed records and the free online copy remain available subject to the normal record and account rules. The Refund and Cancellation Policy provides the full process.

7. User content and records

You are responsible for the text, names, emails, addresses, photos, signatures, and other information you enter or upload. Do not upload information you do not have permission to use.

Do not enter medical or health information, Social Security numbers, government ID numbers, bank or card credentials, biometric identifiers, intimate images, information about a child, or content that is unlawful, threatening, exploitative, or infringes another person’s rights.

You grant PactStamp a limited license to host, process, reproduce, render, transmit, back up, and export user content only as needed to operate, secure, support, and comply with law for the service. You retain any ownership rights you otherwise have.

Signed records store document hashes and event history so a later mismatch in the retained record can be detected. PactStamp may refuse to alter or delete signed records where doing so would undermine record integrity, except where required by law.

8. Availability, suspension, and changes

PactStamp is provided as software and may change over time. We work to keep the service available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

PactStamp may suspend or restrict access to protect users, preserve records, investigate abuse, comply with law, or enforce these terms. Authorized parties retain the access and export rights that applicable law requires.

Material changes to these terms apply prospectively after notice. When a new acceptance is required, PactStamp will request it expressly rather than treating silence as consent.
